Event Overview
In this session, we will hear from Jessica Cole on the use of Lean tools and methodologies in the Finance and Administration sector. Jess will present on projects she had led and discuss Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys and Value Stream Mapping in a Finance, Accounts Payable and Administration setting.
Presenter
Jessica Cole, Managing Director at Cole Consulting Group Pty Ltd
Jessica is passionate about change and continuous improvement. Her career started in Chartered Accounting working for two locally based firms before moving into a Financial Accountant and Commercial Manager role at DSI Underground, Australia’s largest manufacturer in strata reinforcement and ground consolidation products in the mining and tunnelling sectors. Jessica is the Founder and Director of Cole Consulting Group Pty Ltd.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Newcastle and spent some time studying in the Netherlands. She has since completed a Master of Business Administration in Marketing with Distinction and a Graduate Certificate in Competitive Systems and Practices.
In 2017, she was awarded Hunter Manufacturing’s Rising Star and featured on the cover of Hunter Business Review’s December 2018 issue. Her process improvement initiatives have seen her present on a national stage at the AME Conference in 2019, and consult in Canada and the United States.
Jess loves to spend quality time over a glass of wine with friends and family; sourcing fresh produce to support her love of cooking from scratch; keeping active with her puppy Holly, and travelling.
