Case Study: The CBH Journey. State-wide squirrel stores to inventory management
Presentation Overview
To better support the maintenance of their extensive and ever-growing network of assets, CBH shifted the control of spares from a localised model with few controls and visibility to a central, integrated Inventory Management system and Warehouse that acts as a storage, preservation and distribution hub for their fourteen forward stores based at the local maintenance workshops. Their goal was also to establish the Central Warehouse operation as a centre of excellence, available to the country based operations to see LEAN principles in action. The case study will share their journey to date, on implementation, change management, creating a LEAN operation, and upholding the CBH Safety culture.
