Event Overview
A discussion on the how the 3 in 1 program can deliver a lean transformation through a focus on – Hoshin Kanri (Strategic Alignment), Capability Development and Daily Management. The discussion will show how this program can be adapted from it’s origins in the automotive industry into other industries such as food.
What Attendees will Learn
An overview of an integrated framework for businesses that are either starting their Lean journey or have been on the journey for a little while and need a practical and easy to use approach for Lean deployment.
Presenters
Lucy Liu is a lean transformation and organisational capability development leader, consultant and coach with 30 years’ experience in leading organisational cultural change and Toyota Production System/Lean embedment at Toyota Australia & Asia Pacific Region. She has deep theoretical and practical insight in strategy design, execution and building organisation alignment for operational excellence through an action learning approach.
Post her 28 years with Toyota, and 2 years with Asahi in strategic leadership role, Lucy is currently providing consilting and coaching to a number of organisations in Australia and overseas. She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management
Anna Reid is General Manager of Operations at Kinrise, overseeing manufacturing, logistics and operational excellence. Kinrise is best described as a start-up-with scale Australian food company, standing for food that’s Australian, Accessible, Clean and Delicious, producing brands such as Cobs, Greens, and Lowan. Prior to joining Kinrise, Anna was General Manager - Manufacturing for Asahi Beverages, and has also worked for HJ Heinz and George Weston Foods. Anna completed a double bachelor degree of Engineering (Systems) & Information Technology from the Australian National University, and has recently completed her MBA through Melbourne Business School. In 2015, Anna was named Victorian Young Manufacturer of the Year, and is a committee member of a number of educational sector and government advisory groups.
